Lock case with an automatically deadlocking latchbolt.
The deadlocking is controlled by a snib in the forend.
Snib position:
UP = Deadlocking, latchbolt protrudes 21 mm.
The lock can be opened only with a key or a thumbturn.
DOWN = Latchbolt is locked in the lock case.
The door is kept closed using the door closer.
Suitable for use with ABLOY CY001, CY013, CY002,
CY040, CY062 cylinders.
Each cylinder is available with ABLOY cylinder
mechanisms: ABLOY® CLASSIC, ABLOY® NOVEL
or ABLOY® PROTEC.
Finish: chrome.
The 4195 comes complete with the 4690 (for flush
doors) or 4691 (for rebated doors) striker plate.
